Yayasan Pendidikan Jayawijaya [YPJ] is a
school set over two campuses: Kuala Kencana and Tembagapura in Papua,
Indonesia. The school provides an education for PT Freeport Indonesia [PTFI]
national employees. The YPJ Schools serve around 1500 students [500 students in
Tembagapura and 1000 students in Kuala Kencana]. The student population has a
diverse range of needs with a demographic of around 30 percent Papuan students,
and 70 percent Indonesian students from various parts of the Indonesian
archipelago. The YPJ Schools have a vision of learning excellence.
YPJ Kuala Kencana and Tembagapura – Papua are
seeking committed professionals and experienced teachers for:
-Head of Campus
-Learning Support and Counselor
-Primary School Teachers
-Physical Eduacation Teachers
-Music Teachers
-Arts Teachers
General Requirements:
-Possess a bachelor/master degree [S1/S2] from
respectable national/international universities
-Relevant teaching credential
-Demonstrated passion for student learning
-Flexibility and adaptability
-Reflective and resourceful
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Capacity in using English
Teacher’s Positions:
Possess minimum of 3 years teaching experience
in IB schools, national plus and or international school preferred
Head of Campus Positions:
-Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
-Proven instructional leadership, with a
strong understanding of the teaching and learning process
-Experience in a PYP School preferred
-Creative problem solver with an open mindset
-Relevant administrative/leadership credential
Learning Support:
Appropriate Student Support Services [and
Counseling] credential[s] and equivalent experience.
